Some of the parts might not be available just yet but if you like the footboards then convert yours over with the Switchback parts. Cost might be a little bit more than forwards.

i thought the same thing getting on the wg after riding a sportster with forward controls for a year. i rode the fat bob and wg, and though my legs were so far out, but exactly, after a week, it felt natural. i think now after a few thousand miles, i want controls that are further out, or maybe some highway pegs. i found myself putting my heels on the pegs, but my feet turn 90 degrees, and feels awkward.

So can someone post pictures of stock controls, fwd controls, and extended fwd controls? Prefferably on a street bob. I'd like to see the difference. I am 6'2" with a 36" inseam so curious about how the fwd look.

my leg hits my intake only when i adjust, but normal riding, my leg never touches. I'm 5'8. not sure if this is what you wanted. i could have the wife take a pic tomorrow if you please. these be the stock fwd controls. not sure what the extended controls look like.

I have a 34" inseam and went with the extended #9064 Kury's, they fit me fine.

Anyone have suggestion on which forward controls to get for a 2001 dyna super glide? I have an engine guard that might need to be removed, I am guessing. I do like the heel rest idea, and do I need to delete the mid pegs? If I do the forward controls, should I look into handlebars also? I need to go try some different configurations out to see what fits best. I am 6'2 ( I dont know inseam) but probably near most other 6 foot people. I am real starting to like this bike after having a road king, this is a great short trip bike.

I have a HD engine guard that accommodates my HD forward controls. I know there was a thread where there is a mustache type engine guard that also accommodates forwards. The one I have does not have a very pleasing shape as it is just an oval but in black it does not stand out. If you do a search you will find a lot of info on engine guards and forwards.
