Ok I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on these and I'm still torn between the 10" and 12" set. Scotty from Westcoast Tbars told me to go with the 12" set so I'm leaning towards those. However, I'm really not wanting to change cables/brake lines if I don't have to. Do you guys think that my stock cables/lines will work with the 10" MX-Tbars?
Not 100% sure but I don't think the cables will work with either set. Like I said I had the 12's on my night train and loved it. My hands were still below my shoulders.
Old thread but leads to a question I have, how many people have put some West Coast MX bars on their Wide Glide??
I was going to go with some Carlini Gangster Apes, but thinking this would be a different look for the WG, just not sure how well they will work out with the rake of the front end.

I have the 12" mx t-bars on my street bob with wide glide front end. I really like them, but the west coast t-bars slingshot tbars are nice too.
Does your front end have the rake as well? Or did you just go to the wider trees? Thanks for you input.
It has the complete front (trees, forks, 21 inch wheel), so it is definitely more raked than the street bob front end. I have heard/read that the wide glide frame has additional rake, but not sure if this is true. Seems like it would make more sense from a manufacturing standpoint if all dynas had the same frame. Maybe someone else can clarify for sure.
What did you end up going with? I have a WG and want dirtbike bars but have the same concern as you about them being to close to my body. I like to stretch out when I ride.
