+1. When I had a dented tank fixed early last year I inspected my fuel filter. It had ~19k-20k miles on it. What a mess. Easy enough to clean if you don't take into account the dash and those 12 small torx screws that seem to take forever to remove.

I had a tiny bit of rust in my tank and it was only 3yrs old. Who knows how much of it made it's way passed the filter into the engine.

Sorry (IAC= Idle Air Control) It sits on top of the throttle body. Its a v-shaped pintol valve driven by a electrical stepper motor. You can see it sticking thru on the front side of the throttle body at top sticking thru. Ever time you turn off it pops closed. No run on. Soon as you key on it resets and positions for idle air depending on temperature. It allows a controlled air past throttle plate (plate is complete sealed at idle) You can see this reset motion with air filter off and is part of a check of the system. Do not hard spray carb cleaner straight up thru this on a regular basics. It will drive crude up thru seal and into stepper motor. It will fail shortly if you do this.
