So, the shocks are in the mail and should be here in a couple of days!
I gotta say Howard was great to work with. I did my research and read his web-site through and through. Howard answered my questions straightforward and gave me a no bullshit professional opinion.
I walked away with world-class, professionally built shocks and piece of mind that I received top-notch service and support!
I will update with real world riding on what I know will be the best shocks in the market...

Howard, I'll be giving you a holler over the weekend... still need to tweak my #2-#2B's
still trying to figure out the 84mm ÷x2 then ˝ of that with the zip tie thing , I always hated and suck at math
however, I do have a 24" caliper rule
You set the spring pre-load to set the piston 1/3 of the stroke up from top out (up from the bottom of the shock) when you sit on your bike. The calculations: Stroke: 84mm (Total Stroke)/3 = 28mm. LOA unloaded:
Your shock is 330mm (LOA) (-) 28mm (riders sag) = 302 mm/11.889" (LOA) when you sit on the bike.
This means your #2~#2(A) is 330mm when the bike is on the jack with the wheel is off of the ground. When you put the bike back on the ground and sit on the bike (riders sag), your C to C measurement is now 302 mm/11.889".
Where are you getting 84mm ÷x2 then ˝ of that(?). I have no idea what you are talking about. That (1/4 of the stroke is way too stiff and we use that for smooth track conditions only) is not correct.
Riders sag is this which is (below) 1/3rd of the stroke.

This is not your shock (#3~#3) but you can figure it out as I did the math for you. Reset your shocks each time you sit on the bike by lifting up your bike by the rear fender and giving it a big pull.

I received my shocks from Howard; again not enough can be said about his knowledge and help.
Unfortunately, I was in a small collision and my bike is in the shop for two weeks; hopefully that's all it takes. I'll post about the ride soon!
