Default heat issues

Thank you
I don't have my bike yet, but I've heard that the 103 cu. in. motors generate more heat than the 96s. That's why I was asking if any 103 owners experienced this. Any replies would be appreciated.

The first thing I noticed was that slow speed manuvers was a little awkward do to the raked front end of the WG,The Sporty's front end being closer in was more managable at slow speeds, but it just took a little while in a big parking lot to get the feel for it.One thing I did notice right away and I don't know if anyone else has noticed it, is the rubber bushings where the risors meet the tree have a little bit of play front to back(more so to the front).
The only way I noticed it was after pulling out from the dealer a car pulled out right in front of me causing me to get on the brakes enough to move me forward and I felt the risors move forward(nothin like gettin a good break check on the maiden voyage huh).I took it straight back and had the service department check it out, they said it was normal for it to have a little give for vibrations and offered to put poly bushings in it but I stuck with the rubber ones.Over all the Nightster was a little more responsive on the throttle but I had some mods on it though, but the stock 103 has plenty of power to it for me right now.
After my last post I caught a break in the weather and put a couple hundred miles on her and got the tires scuffed in and she hugs the road good now.Very smooth ride vs the Sporty, having another gear is great too LOL.All in all I feel more comfortable with the WG,IDK it just feels more planted and and secure than my old Nightster.Everybody said I would miss my Sporty and the Dyna was not as fun to ride, but I am really diggin this bike.
Thanks for your reply. Have fun and take care.
