Taking them out is no prob if you pop the pipes off, I just use either a 23mm wrench or a creseant wrench. Once you break em loose they come out no prob. Pretty tight in there if you leave the pipes on, not sure if you can get them out or not that way I've never tried. Not sure about the plugs thing and leaks I've always just let my 02's do their work.
"How hard is it to remove the 02 sensors and put in plugs and how do you seal them to not leak on a 07 FXDC ?"
There's a long socket specially made for O2 sensors - has a slit up the side for the wire. This would work well on the front pipe, but the rear pipe is much more difficult because of the angle and space restrictions. Best way to take out the O2s is to disconnect the sensor leads, then take off the header as Skid suggested, then just use an adj wrench on the O2s. When you install the block-off plugs you might try dabbing some hi-temp copper sealant on the threads. And when you reinstall the header, really should use some new gaskets in the exh ports.

I could see why with carb, but with EFI engine works with them, best to keep them.
I have a pcIII usb and so I snipped the wires and now I thought I would take them off so there is more room to access behind the battery where I have the power commander conections !
You should have not cut them. You must have had already unhooked them to install the resistors that plug in in place of the O2 sensors. If you ever change your fuel management system you may need them. You should have left them in and just unhooked them.JMO

+1000 on that, NEVER cut wires that do not HAVE to be cut, you may regret that later. Splicing some instrument wires can create resistance that may cause them to give unreliable readings to the computer.
