Besides engine size the Fat Bob has better looks and more attitude!
Most of the differences are looks but don't forget that the Fat Bob has dual front disc brakes and is in my humble the best handling dyna for this moment.
Wider triple tree, 16 inch tires front & back, dual disk brakes in the front, slightly larger fuel tank, larger speedometer and a little wider between the rear fender brackets just to name a few. Both great bikes, just different directions............
For new bikes it is actually the Super Glide Custom as the Super Glide was discontinued.
The SGC and Fat Bob have the same fuel tank, the older Super Glides had a smaller tank.
This is how I see it...The fat bob has the edge in handling and the custom has the edge on looks. A lot of people are saying the fat bob is the best handling bike harley has ever made.
I went for the bling and am very happy.
If you buy new, realize that to get rid of the cats you have to do a full exhaust on the fat bob (unless you want to get into some mods to the collectors) where the superglide custom you can do slip ons as the cats are in the mufflers.
