Definitively looks better with out all the extra stuff basically it's a small and lighter Road king / Bagger with a FL front end but with the 103 , Look out baggers that Dyna gonna be whipping by you !!

Nice looking bike. For me, I think I'd rather have the Road King if I'm going with "that style" of touring bike, but I'd love to ride both back to back and get a firsthand opinion.

It started going away @ about 75-100 mikes. Thereafter, it seemed to get better and better. Last trip was about 150 miles and the vibrations are pretty much gone.
I added Kuryakyn ISO grips and poly riser bushing on my 07 Dyna Street Bob to cut vibration in the handle bars way down.
Kuryakyn foot peg also helped, lots of rubber on them.

As I recall my Street Bob did smooth out after a while at higher speeds.

I’ll be practicing “safe riding” again with a “rubber” mounted motor.

Yes the street bob's do smooth out with time. My is flawless at 80MPH . Smooth as glass. Ran much rougher while i was breaking it in. Had some unexplained smoke as well that went away. Think it was the assembly lube they use to put it togather. Now at 3800 miles the bike runs fantastic.

Regarding the mods to the switchback. those bars look great. Really a clean looking ride. I like what you have done with it. I think the main gripe some have on this bike is it doesn't look like a traditional dyna. But then again that may be the point . Its a new model.

Looks good, I agree, this model will catch on. I've been eyeing those stock bars for for my Dyna. Are they 1" and have notches for external wiring? They look like they have a little more height and pull back than other Dynas, do you think?

I assume they do have notches for the wiring but I'm not sure as I had a shop do the change out. I'll be back in ca. on sunday and I'll check them out for you if you are interested. You could also call HD and see so you know for sure. If you are looking for the stock bars like i took off, I'll sell them to you at a great price. I also have the cables and wiring that i took off, so if they will work for you, I'll include those as well. The wiring was run outside the bars, that much I know and also why I wanted to run them inside on the new bars.
