Default GVWR Dyna Custom

Can one of you 2006 / 2007 FXDC folks please look in the MOM and let me know what the GVWR for this bike is. I just bought a Sportser cause the wife didnt want to ride ... now she does. The 06 883 wont carry us and our gear. The 883 weighs about 574 lbs which leaves 426 lbs .. I have real big bones and weight 220 [8D], she weighs 130 which leave 76 lbs for gear. That would leave us right at the limit.

Thanks alot

Are you seriously concerned about a DOT required set of numbers?? I've never heard of anyone who give a rats *** about such things lol.

I have an FXDI35 and we are close to the weight limit or a hair over, but the bike handles it well. You should be fine with it. We also traded our sportster in dure to the weight thing.

I use my GVWR as an excuse so that i don't have to give the bigger girls rides. I weigh 290 and if a put girl on the back thats 180, it's over the limit, but i've done it and my bike was fine, and i left the preload set on 2. The only thing that happened, was my bell got torn off coming out a steep driveway at a chevron station.
BTW, i never found my bell, some damn gremlin must have ran off with it, i was given a new one since them.
