All - I just sent my pics to someone who knows how to compress 3MB images into a size that can post here. My home made garage job is certainly not in the league of the red cafe - that piece is absolutely awesome.

Reason: added images to post upon OP's request
You need to give yourself more credit...you did an awesome job. I really like the direction you are going.
It's my belief that the red bike was built by a professional shop, possibly built by Roland Sands or Todd's Cycle.
One suggestion, lose the license plate bracket on the fender....it will clean up the lines alot. try an axle mount plate or a laydown plate, that Hogrider sells.
Nice work. It'll look better if you bob the rear fender along the lines of your avatar. Also, the tank looks like it's a tad high in back. If you could get the tank and pipes lined up on the same plane and the back end buttoned up it'll look the business (like the avatar pic).
Very nice bike. When I saw the picture first I thought you had put forward controls on a Cafe racer, but I se those are just another foot rest. That will be handy on those trips that are longer than the next cafe.
Is that an old CB450 tank? nevermind I just re read your post, cool, it might look better if you bobbed the rear fender right after the fender rails and side mounted the plate and tail light. If you want to try that without chopping up your rear fender PM me I've got a bobbed fender I originally cut for my street bob I can let ya have cheap. It's got too many holes in it but that's an easy fix.
