European's and Japanese are such vastly different cultures from North Americans that they have to be experienced/studied to be understood...for sure, the roads/driving are totally opposite of what we have here (as are their requirements for licencing!) and they definately have a different take on style...we sure have a see it/buy it/bolt it on mentality...our most popular efforts at "craftsmanship" are theme bikes by you know who.....still can't wait to get to Sturgis and sift through the visual piles of umm, bikes, for some true American gems...America did provide the "canvas" (HD) that everyone seems to like to "paint" on...
