I assume you mean unclamping the brackets and sliding the windshiled down to where the clamps touch the top of the dog bone, correct?

Tilt the windshield forward...just by muscling it - pushing the top outward? Does it require loosening the bolts that connect the shield to the clamps?

Good tip. I tired this and it seems to have made a bit of a difference. I also rolled a long sleeve T and strapped across the handle bars. That serves two purposes then, blocks the wind and is also and extra shirt if needed while riding.
