Free hardware if I swap...question
I'm picking up a detachable backrest for my street bob and he said I can have the hardware if I'll give him mine which is a pretty good savings especially with the turn signal kit. I've got to travel to do the swap...
So my question is, how long do you think this will take, and will everything swap out from my 08 Bob to his 07 bob? Does the bike have to be on a lift to get the rear tire to drop to get access?

Dunno about the 07 to 08 fitment, but you can change the Hardware out with the bike on the side stand with a little patience and some jiggling the bolts about. Worked for me, took about 40 mins altogether, what i call a one beer install 
putting the bike up will of course make it quicker and simpler, but you'll need to drink quicker....

its hard to get the turn signal bolts out past the rear tire without a lift.... some of had luck deflating the rear tire for clearance... i prefer to put my bike on a lift and unbolt the top shock bolts...
