Sometimes I am in an anti-social mood and wish people would not acknowledge or say hi to me while out on the road. At that point, because I am not rude, I am obligated to say something in return.
This whole waving thing has gotten out of hand. So many newer bikers are so used to other bikers waving that the moment one doesn't it is an earth shattering event. I know we are all a brotherhood but c'mon. If I want to wave I'll wave. If I don't I won't. Just like when the clerk in the convience store tells me to have a nice day. If I want to I will. If not don't worry about it. Your life will go on whether I have a nice day or not.

Some people are chumps....many of them actually.I dont worry about it.I ride for me nobody else.Its the same as someone not holding the door for you when you go into a store.And as far as dress goes...you wont see me wearing much if any of the black leather.Be an individual.

I wave at everybody unless I'm busy doing something like trying to avoid a crash.Sometimes people don't wave back.They might be busy or just being an A-hole it really doesn't matter.Get over it, lifes too short.

Hey I rode a Sportster at one time. Guess what it was a Harley. I was driving my car with a lady Manager and her Husband, ( I was her boss ) and the whole time I was driving the sixty miles to the Christmas party I had to listen to him say Sportsters were Girly bikes. He did not even own a bike. He said he was going to buy a real Harley in the spring. Well the Eunich still has not bought a bike, and it has been ten years. Who cares if someone waves or not. I wave most of the time, and most of the time people wave back. I wear a helmet, and sometimes that offends the non helmeted rider. They are afraid you think they should wear one also, or they just have had a bad day. Bikers all in all are good people. I think you need to ride more to unstress.

don't be so worked up about it, cool down, we are not all like that..I wear a cut-off with a patch, chaps, leathers and big boots fingerless gloves, but no skulls yet, I figer the only skulls I need or want are of the ones I personally kill 
that was a joke, anyway if I pulled up long side of you i would do a couple of theings, one flip up my viser on my full face helmet, 2 talk your ear off and 3 probaly ask you where your going and do you want to have a coffee.. The next day you might see me with nothing like that on, except the helmet, once one of them babies saves your life you never go anyplace with out it, trust me on that one..No I think you maybe had a bad day, I have been snubbed at a interstate rest area by a young couple on two harleys, the were dressed kind of like you, and I was in my hardcore gear, comeing back from Denver, and they ignored me when I tried to talk to them, so it works both ways..I just told them to have a nice day and to F--k off. Go ride your bike and enjoy, the next cup of coffee is on me

There is guy down the street from me that rides a Nighttrain. He never waves at me or anything. I always wave at anyone on two wheels especially kids on their bikes they think it's pretty cool. I also wear a fullface helmet and full finger gloves. But I hardly ever ride in groups. I ride for me and do not want anyone trying to pressure me into riding to fast, or to slow, or any other way but safe and happy. So I tend to ride alone. And when you wear a fullface helmet it's hard to hear the wife talking to you on the back(another plus)

Some people wave, some don't. And some will do the haughty "you're not good enough" look. I personally do not care. I consider all beneath me anyway.

and yes,the wave thing is over rated !! many times if the wind is blowing,or heavy traffic,i do not wave,i give a nod of the head only . i gotta say this,far more important things in life to worry about !!!
