Painted Breather Bracket
After I got my breather kit done, I didn't realize the backing plate to my breather would have the aluminum look to it. I could have spent the money to get a chrome one but instead I painted the backing plate black.
I've attached a before and after pic. The after pic has my diamond insert missing but the dealer is replacing it for me this week when I take my bike in to have it retuned. It didn't accept the tune very well the first time.

I used VHT Wrinkle Plus black high-temp paint, which is a pretty close color & texture match to the FXDWG engine finish. However, I only prepped and painted the "exterior" surfaces and taped-off the interior backplate and intake port (everything between the air filter & throttle body) so they would remain untouched. Also used it to black-out the chrome band on the battery box.
