I like the idea of more red stopping lights without going LED’s.
Thanks
First purchase after buying my last three bikes. Not sure if the running light part helps all that much, but having the turn signals light up with the brake light makes a HUGE difference in being noticed!
I have bought 2 in less than a year, seems they rub on battery box and short out.Liked the idea of more light just too expensive to buy twice a year.Around $52 at Harley Dealer, plug and play easy install. Most state require you cahnge to the red lenses included, for rear running lights.
I got my mine from Biketronics for around $60. I think it was the BT400. It is encased in heavy epoxy so it won't rub. Good customer service- mine crapped out after 3 years and they replaced it under warranty. Badlands also makes them.
i like the idea of being more visible at night & having 2 extra stoplights during day. very easy to install.
Thanks driv3rx, I will have to check for chaffed wires & wrap accordingly
I really liked my HD unit.. it installed easily enough and stowed away well. Not too expensive and was solid state.. the more light to the rear.. esp. during stopping/turning situations the better..
I like mine from cycle visions. The brake lights blink 3 times before staying on. Called the flasher and does not come with red turn lenses. The flash mode can be shut off at the module if you like. $58.00
I had a R/S/T module from HD. I didn't think, and no one behind me either thought, that there was enough contrast between the Running lights and the Brake lights.
On more than one ocassion people behind me on a group ride would tell me my brake lights were stuck on.
