I have an 2010 fxdb and I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust to a 2 into 1. Have a co worker willing to sell me a thunderheader off an 05 for 150 bucks. Now I know it doesn't have O2 sensor ports but I figure I can just tig weld some bungs in myself and have it coated since I want it black anyways. Are there any other fitment issues I'm not aware of? Hopeing this might be a cheap solution to buying new pipes. Thanks in advance.

 

I think you can make it work. The mount is different from 06 on, but if you can weld bungs you should be able to fab a mount or modify the stock one. Sorry I can't give you any more details but someone here should be able to tell you more.

 

The hole pattern for the transmission mount is slightly different. Rounding the holes may work.
