Well after a 3 year hiatus from the forums I am back and have commented on a few threads here and there...
I sold my '06 Lowrider that I bought in '05 in '07 and havent been back on one since.. but when its in your blood.. blah blah blah.. so its time to get another Dyna.. I have been doing research now for about 4 months on engine, colors, wheel mods... etc..
Since the demise of the Lowrider (my fav.) back in '09... the only bike close in comparability IMO is the SuperGlide custom. The 10s' and up even have black engines interiors (not grey).. I was thinking of doing a Fuel Moto 107 kit for the engine...(wish they were closer to me !) a set of V&H Big shots *see picture.. (with a custom X brace crossover welded in for back pressure maybe cause I like dual in appearance pipes..) I have an idea on an oil cooler and front fairing set up that I may try..
I am a chrome guy so I dont really track with the blacked out bikes as much.. even tho there are some cool ones on here..
I have found a couple of low milage 09 LRs but I also like the Teq. Orange HD Orange custom color combo this year.. (something I NEVER thought I would say but after standing next to one in the sun it was amazing)
I had thought on getting a used CVO SE Dyna ('07 or '08) but the price for them is STILL in the "excessive" range to me..
So thoughts and opinions are welcome.. thus the reason for the thread.. I posted a few attachments for review..

I personally would buy a new custom over a used CVO. The engine on the CVO's are nice, and even though I like bling, the CVO's custom paint is just too much for me. You could buy a new custom in the tequila orange that you like and do any mods you want to as you see fit. The black engine is the way to go, really sets off the chrome. If you do stage one on that 96 engine, you may be surprised just how fast it moves out and can always do more later.
