Default Jackyll tank lift 2"

Anyone not seeing this as an easy install aside from me? Not one picture. Fuel crossover hose? What is that? Remove seat? How? Again, not one direction. Maybe a lot of you have disassembled your rig while under warranty and are comfortable with this?

Anyone have a picture of this process?

It's simple as pie...and I'm a mechanical idiot.

The fuel crossover line is the rubber hose underneath the tank that connects one side to the other. For the 2 inch lift you shouldn't have to fool with it.

The seat comes off by removing the bolt at the rear of it.

In addition to the Service Manual, buy the Parts Catalog/Manual also. Shows every single part, every single fastener, and gives specs for all parts. Invaluable.

Takes almost 10 min. for the install. Need to watch that first turn of the bars from stop to stop.....can hit the tank if not careful. Hand to loosen rear bolt and push the tank towards the seat.

The instructions don't read like the service manual does. Don't let that get you down though. I too was thrown by it a little. I even ended up installing it "improperly" because there were no pictures.

I show installed close up shots of it on my Street bob here:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...treet-bob.html

I have since flipped it so the bracket sits closer to the tank instead of out towards the forks. It looks better now too imo.
