The only suspension upgrade is the rear shocks off an FXDX. Would love some race tech drop ins and their gold valve emulators with some piggy back rear shocks but they require something I have a hard time parting with. $$$$$. The bike sits higher than stock by about 2" already. Trust me suspension is in my dreams currently.
I hear ya brother! The only way I got my setup was I got it for free from progressive when I loaned them my bike for a couple of days.
I also noticed youre still running Dunlop tires (like me). Hopefully that will put to rest the wives tale about Dunlops not sticking. Dont blame the tires if the rider cant ride.
Well I'm a fan of bridgestones. These are just the tires that came on the bike and I won't replace perfectly good tires. They perform pretty good actually.
I left the sportbike world last year don't think ill go back for a while. The thing about those bikes is unless you race them on a track you will never find theirs or yours limit. Personally I feel more comfortable riding this dyna to its limit and staying well under mine. I like to call my style "spirited" riding.
That's how I feel about it, cool to hear it from someone else....
