So I wanted to try a smaller solo seat for my bike. Something small with clean lines as a "somethimes" alternative to my massive yet extremely comfy Mustang. I bought this 13 inch real leather seat from Jireh. Its really a spring seat but I mounted it without the springs the way you would mount the Lepera Bare Bones. Low and hard (lol). It has a great stance and lowered my butt probabllly close to two inches compared to the Mustang, but I'm just not sure if I'm liking how it looks. Is it just me or does it look out of place on my bike? I'm thinking maybe if I added a set of 3 inch springs it might look better, but I just don't know. Opinions?
And... if I order up some springs, do I go with the standard coil springs or do I try the ever so trendy clothes pin style people are useing now a days.
Thanks guys. Maybe I will just try it as is for a while and see how I like it. I guess I could add springs any time if I wanted to.
Austindave, yes thats an extension. Bought it off ebay. I cant figure out why the hell they don't come from the factory with them. At least on my bike I could never find the damn kickstand without. Always took multiple attempts with my heel. Now its a no brainer.
Thanks Zig Zag. Took a while to get it to where I'm happy but now that I'm happy, the wife thinks we need a bigger bike. I guess I need to add a Road King to the garage so she's happy.
@ bikerlaw - Questions on your front end, what size front rim you running and what brand springer and how many inch over is the springer? I was wanting to do the same.
