Default Tank lift ??????

The fuel system is designed to pickup fuel at the front of the tank and the cross over line is also at the front, do you guys with tank lifts have a problem with not using all the fuel in the tank.. What i mean is do you have to fill up more often because your tanks are tilted upward in the front and not allowing the fuel to be picked up or transfered from tank to tank?????

I've had many people order mine and I know it will have no effect on fuel consumption. All the fuel will get to the engine.

No change in my fuel stops,, But how would you really know unless you ran it out of gas without lift,, Then again with lift..
The average Bob tank has about 3/4 of a gallon still in the tank after the gauge shows past 'E' And unless your tryin to run it dry, your going to stop and get gas as soon as you can when you see it past 'E'..
RudeDog's lifts are a GREAT deal.................

I'm with the rest never a problem with mine. I still use the same milage for fillups as before lift. Pickup doesn't seem to change. I did notice a slight difference in fuel gauge when getting low but never ran out. YET

The reason for asking is that i'm thinking of installing one on my bike,,And as for the side plates there are none,,I use the under the seat mount for the sissy bar....thanks for the replies guys..

You'll get alot of great comments on the lift.. RudeDog has lifts that look good and the price is right... compared to the dealers...
