i found these control switches on hawg halters website.

they're pretty much exactly what i'm looking for...simple and sleek.

3 buttons each side means i don't lose any functions and not going the grip ace route means i dont have to buy new grips

Tell me about it man.

I'm doing all the work myself, not spending a dime in labor. But the parts themselves ain't cheap!

The reason for the spacers is that in order to run the internal throttle you need to leave so much of the bar in place (or at least I did) for support. I had initially planned on just using the set screws for the internal throttle adn not welding and my goal was to chop the bars so that there was no space left wehre the switch housings used to be but it just did not work out that way. The sapcers take the place of the switch housings. Anyway, once yous tart working on it you will see what I mean.

128 good to see you too. All is well here.

If you need me to get you the parts, it would be my pleasure.

If I'm understanding you, if I run the switches I linked a few posts ago I won't need spacers?

Also, is welding the throttle necessaries, recommended, totally up to me...?

I looked at those this morning...

Like the simplistic design of the hawg halters pieces coupled with the fact that I won't have to delete any functions from my bars.
