I've had a jockey shift set up on my wish list for a while now...that project is a definite for this winter.
The clutch cable being deleted from the bars got me thinking...
I wanna take all the cables off my bars now.
Here's the shopping list...
Exile cycles internal throttle
Goodridge sniper line internal brake cable
My questions are mostly in regards to the switches and controls.
I'm looking at the grip ace offered by exile, this would allow me to get rid of my switch housings and run a nice simple mirror mount on each side flush up against my grips.
What are my other options here? I'm looking for sleek clean controls.
Also what do I do for a brake lever mount?
Thanks for the help, and stay tuned...the bike is in for major surgery this winter
Ive thought about doing this on the chopper i have blueprinted in my head......some day when i gather enough pieces and enough dough to do it. Anyways i was thinking of using a proportioning valve off a master cylinder big enough for both front and rear calipers. Then you got clutch with left foot, both brakes on the right foot, and nothing but grips on the bars.

The only reason I won't do that is I like having independent control of my brakes. I use them individually as well as together.
I saw a perfect setup like you a talking about. It was on a street bob that was owned by a salesmen at Freedom Harley in denver co. Bars were clean no external wires, cables, or switches. Very cool. If you are looking for assistance, you might check with him. I can't remember his name, but he's a really nice guy, and very helpful.
