What aw you guys finding works for the drop in prog.'s
Well my drop in arrived, and I'm curious as to what works best/most common length for the length of the spacers. I'm not looking for slammed front, I just want to bring it down a little as I'm goin to be running an air ride in the back.
I'm also taking the front end completely apart to have the lowers powdercoated, so what should I replace the oil with? Stock weight or a heavier weight. I have my service manual on the way but does anyone know the amount of oil to replace with ?

The same amount you take out of it. Unless it was low to begin with.
My forks are slammed with the Progressive drop in kit and 3/4 inch spacers. I have a 120/70-21 hoop on the front and 11 inch Biker Choice / Progressive HD shocks in the rear. Ill post pics tomorrow.....dont think I have any of the scooter in its current state
No bottoming yet and I ride the **** outta this thing on busted up Jersey roads.....plus Im fat...Stock fork oil.
The spacer that comes with the kit is 2 inches long. That will lower the front suspension approx 1 inch.
If you cut it to 1 inch long...It will lower the front 2 inches.
So mines approx 2 1/4 lowered....rides so much better than the stock springs....
Its an easy job...good luck!
Here's a 2 inch spacer. Lowered about 1.5 " up front. I replaced the oil with amsoil shock therapy medium and the ride is awesome. No more shutters over bumps, brake dive gone and the forks don't fully extend out when you hit the throttle. I love it!
