Just looking for a recommendation on where to get some fender spacers for my 2010 Street Bob. I am going with a Kendall Johnson Customs front fender and not sure yet if I will need them but just want a good place to buy them if needed. I am ordering the fender today and it states no fender spacers are required for a narrow glide, only for the wide glides. But my stock Street Bob fender has that bolted in adapter to mate up the surface for the fender mounts. So I am pretty sure I will need probably at least 1/2" spacers on each side to mount it. Here is a pic of the fender:
I've always had great success at the local OSH looking for the miscellaneous bolt/nut/washer for my maintenance/mod projects, and I'm sure they carry spacers in assorted sizes to suit your needs. Hopefully there's an OSH in your neighborhood. Good luck on your project.

go to ace hardware... that is where i get all mine... i first use plastic spacers to get them perfect to how i want the fender, then use the metal spacers they sell (even come chrome) but i powder all mine so i go raw metal. use the plastic as a template, trace your line to the metal spacer, cut it and use the belt sander or large file to make fine tune

That works even better, never thought of Ace. I have one right down the street from me. The original fender I wanted is on backorder and won't be available until as early as Dec so that is too long to wait for it. So I went with the RWD 5.5 in. Wide Custom Long for 21" wheel so I will have to play with the fitment some but I will get it to work. I will be starting my custom paint work for the bike shortly so I have to get it ready for my painter and get it to his shop. Can't wait until it is finished up and warmer weather for next years riding season!
