02 Super Glide electrical probs
I am at a loss so thought I would try this site. My 2002 S/Glide has LOST the power to the following; engine light, instrument lights, fuel gauge, hi/low beam and all indicators. The following HAS power: horn, frt parker light, rr tail light, brake light and I have speedo and trip meter. I have checked the fuses all are good, checked and replaced the 30amp circut breaker. Is there any main engine fuse I may have missed, as this is driving me mad. I can not start the bike at all. I am wondering if the key is playing up but can not see how to open it to clean the terminals. Any suggestions would be helpful thanks.

Check all your wiring for any pinches or shorts. I had that happen on my 02 not too long ago after my accident. It's a pain in the *** but just check it out. Especially if you have hit any pot holes or anything of that nature.

I would check the ground cables at the lug/connections end to the ground posts under the seat and behind the coil and to the starter. Sometimes the wires in the cables will corrode inside the insulation and not provide a good ground.
