Keep us posted on which you pick toastman. I dig the black more until it fades but the hassle of having to spray it routinely has me leaning towards the titanium from DEI.
So do I...but with the changes I'm planning this winter the bike is gonna have a more old school hotrod loom and feel, so I wnt to at lest try the wrap out.
Worst case I don't like it and I slap the het shields back on
The Titanium wrap is very easy to work with. It has a silky feel to it which makes it very easy to wrap dry without the mess of wrapping with water. It's also very durable, I've had my TH wrapped in titanium for two seasons and the wrap still looks brand new.
Any of you guys see some of this http://www.lightningrodmotorcycles.com/Pipewear.html
in person? I think it would look at home on a black thunderheader. No idea if it would fade over time with rain/heat etc..
http://www.torchwear.com/ Sells it but it's not listed on the site, special order only I guess, and probably pricey.
Also, if you painted the titanium wrap black would it stay black for longer than the black painted black or would it just end up looking like **** on a white rag?
