Good move going with the Ohlins. In the meantime, go up a notch or 2 on the shocks.

I need to figure a way to stiffen the rear-shocks. Don't have a spanner wrench AND the bottom of the shock has a cam-cover that visually blocks the adjustment. I'm pretty-sure the adjustment is at its' weakest point, since I have probably 70lbs on the previous owner. I'm 195lbs.

A strap wrench usually will work.

I have a chain-wrench. Guess I could cover the cam with a thick piece of rubber and count the notch clicks. I think there are 5 from lowest to stiffest settings.

If I grab the shock with gloved hands I can adjust mine up or down.

Sometimes I stand on the pegs and jump up to unload shocks when I go over the speed bump. This works for me with mid controls only.
