Default Speed bumps

I know my Low Rider is close to the ground but come on! Yesterday I came upon 2 3" or 4" speed-bumps in front of a walmart. They are continuous curb to curb. Rode very slow over the first one.......ssccrraappe! Darn near pushed over the second...ssccrraappe! I worried for what was happening to my oil-pan with the 'noise'. Small tag of metal off the frame protects the pan. (Guess I shoulda popped a wheelie) Next time I'll find a way around 'em. That terrible noise hurt.........still does

My bike used to do that at my old apartments parking lot speed bumps all the time, I adjusted my shocks up to help. I hated every time I had to go over them, and was another reason(had many) to move away

Accelerate a bit after the front tire is over. Will raise up your suspension a bit. Other than that, avoid em or adjust rear shocks.

I've been waiting on a call/message from Howard at Motorcycle Metal telling me my Ohlin shocks are ready to ship.

The more of an angle I go over the bumps with,
the better luck I have in clearing them.

You may want to check the metal stub that the jiffy stand spring is connected to, sometimes that will scraaaaaaaap also. And I am speaking from experience.

Evidence was clearly visible on that frame metal-tag protector, but I'll check the other side too. Thanks
