Slip ons are a great way to get a deep exhaust tone. Rush slip-ons provide a deep solid tone that makes a Harley sound like it should. Baffle options are 1.75", 2.00", and 2.25". The 2.00" is the most popular and should provide a much deeper note than your straight pipes. http://www.rushracingproducts.com/dyna95_10.html
Our 2:1 dyna system (8030) will produce a deep note and uses the same baffle technology as our slip-ons. It will be louder than just slipons but will not have a high pitch like straight pipes. http://www.rushracingproducts.com/chromedynafull.html

Ryan,
I have 1-3/4 Cycle Shack drag pipes and they have that high pitch sound. Do you know if your slip ons will fit on them if I cut them down to the length of stock headpipes?
+2 for Rush 2" baffles.
True Harley sound - deep and beefy and not at all tinny or metallic.
And not obnoxiously loud (although that is a subjective matter).
another choice pipe wise is the supertrapp supermeg 2-1. Adjustable for noise/torque. http://www.supertrapp.com/product_se...at.asp?CatID=6
Another benefit...one of the top performing pipes for our v-twin.
the mellowest tone would be stock headers and some SE slipons.
