I have an 11' FXDC that I put a V&H Pro Pipe on. While I love the look and the sound, it really interferes with the lean angle.
I would like to try some different pipes that would offer a few more degrees of lean w/o giving up a nice exhaust note and still look nice. (I know sound and aesthetics are subjective and a personal taste thing)
I know I don't want a 2into1 with muffler kicked up a few degrees. I think it looks odd.
Two of the others I was looking at are the V&H Short Shots & the V&H Big Radius 2/1. Not sure if the Big Radius would look right on the Dyna though.
The big radius 2n1 looks ok to me. I need to get someone to ride my bike, never heard them when not setting on top of them. I still like the sound of them.
I want a 2-1 but this is my concern as well. I currently have 1-3/4" drag pipes with some home made lollipops. They were a little too loud without them and they helped with the mis range a little. They definitely are low profile though because of their small diameter. No lean problems at all.
Where is your pipe touching down? head pipe or muffler?Taller shocks are more likely to solve the problem than a exhaust change.I know form personal experiance a Thunderheader will not help you unless you have it "twisted" where the head pipes are side by side rather than stacked.

It hits the muffler at the rear. There's about 6" of discoloration(scrape) on the bottom of the muffler. This can actually been seen in the pic.
I don't want to do the longer shocks. If anything , I'd like to lower an inch. I know this could/would change the ride quality but this is a second bike used more shorter rides.

I had the Big Shots on my Fat Boy Lo. I liked em. You don't have a scraping issue on your Dyna?
