I spent 3100, taxes in for the S&S 106 Kit, Easy Start 583 Gear Drive Cams, Gaskets, oil and labour which included a bit of head polishing.

Could have saved 500 if I'd sourced the Kit and Cams.

I bought a pair of 251s for this build. I was told also to go with a 0.030 cometic gasket and 10-1 compression pistons. Apparently from the gentlemen who have been nice enough to answer this thread and the pms I sent out think that this is a good combo. I have been informed that the torque will be good on the bottom but the mid-high end will scream. I hope it all works together well. I am buying everything as I can afford it and going to install it all next winter. Expect many threads then.
