they work well for straight pipes. Meaning no baffles.

They are going to sound awesome!!! Couldn't you just auto tune your EFI to work with the exhaust?

not to hijack or anything but would i need torque cones if i took the baffles out of my vance and hines short shots? i got a 2011 street bob screamin eagle stage 1 and fuel moto tuner thing.

If you remove the baffles from your pipes the Torque Cones will help with low to mid range power.

so would it hurt the motor at all to run neither torque cones or baffles? just wondering.

I still gonna disagree with that .

A better solution is to fit a 'lollipop' in the exhaust end. A quick way to do that is to fit some Thunder Monster 'baffles'. You get all the noise still but the lollipop inside them breaks up the reversion.

Why would you want to put something in the exhaust that restricts the amount of flow (aka torque cones) the exhaust is designed for? Seems to be better alternatives than that.

Well, Samson sell torque cones and so will tell you to buy them. I don't give a hoot which you buy but can tell you from personal experience that a lollipop across the exhaust end or a baffle will work better.

The real fix though is a proper exhaust system rather than a bit a bent tube that's sound level makes the owner seem needy of attention.
