feel like a wimp bitching about it when some of you are covered in snow, but it's cold here 55 F. brrr
soon as we get some sunshine to warm it up a little I am headed out to start the wiring and loctite all the hardware.
the brackets I found are wrong and have no center bar connecting the sides, yet.
I have filled my stainless steel pipe with water and put it in the freezer so I can shape it with out kinking it.
lucky me the brackets are chromed stainless. incorporating a light bar will be easy.
this is my inspiration for my bike as 1960 meets 2012
note the way they mounted the tool box back then on these duo glides.
I have 3 of these boxes and the deluxe big twin snap on tool kit. enhanced with even more snap on tools. I love it on my bagger. Might find it's way onto this bike.
why can't I just ride it and enjoy it?
it was fine when I rode it home didn't need anything...
whatever...
sickness
cheers

What really caught my attention was the fender cover. That is a nice part for working on the bike. I have a towel I throw over mine, but the fitted cover would do a much better job. Oh, and the lights look good too.

Cool fender covers

I got two of them at the swap meet and the tank cover. 9 dollars for all three!
hate to keep repeating myself but I love the swaP MEET.
I skinned our old leather couch before I dumped it and have been using that to cover up stuff when I tinker.
this looks like I am really in to it.
nine dollars into it.
I should have at least wiped the dirt off them before using them.

I have the brackets that fit on most every other dyna they are useless to me if anyone needs them
item numbers 3, 4, 5, 6, on page 5 -J02792
these clamps look like it would make it a breeze to put any passing lamps on a standard dyna they are for 41 mm fork tubes
