Default My Rainy Day Project....
Friday was a rainy day in NorCal so I spent the time swapping out the stock shiny rocker covers with a set I just got back from the PC shop.
Top cover is wrinkle black and rocker housing is gloss black for a little contrast. I also took out the chrome push rod tube covers and replaced them with a set that I painted with textured black (I left the chrome spring cap and lifter covers as is).

Install took the whole day (draining the tank and wrenching on the rear cyl required a bit more effort) but I think the long hours paid off.

I like it, it looks great. Great contrast and matches your battery box and pipes.

In my honest opinion, that looks great! I'm not a fan of blacking out chrome and I think the practice is way too fadish, but I like what you did. Very tastefully done.

I too am not a "blackout" guy, but that contrast was one nice idea, very tastefully executed.

Very nicely done. I really like the way you are blackening out the bike and using bits of chrome for contrast. All black with no contrast is boring imo......
