Hey,...no problem,..... glad to be of help. I sure know there are several members on this forum that have saved me many hours of frustration and cussing with their helpful suggestions on different things.
Run up to your local hardware store and get the 3/8" button head bolts and assorted hardware you need in stainless steel. Polish the heads and you've got a chrome-like finish that won't rust unless you really want it to.
I had the same problems but the forward control I bought off ebay were billet alum.
I didn't get any instructions with it, the size of bolt are 3/8-24 x 1". the bolt I need had to flat head allen - chrome.

Hummmm,......... I dont know how a fine thread 3/8-24 bolt fit into your fork. I was unsure of the thread size at first so I double checked mine with my tap and die set and confirmed it was definately a 3/8 NC16 "fine" thread. Who knows,... but I sure know mine is not a fine thread.
Do you have a copy of the instructions? It has all the parts and part numbers that comes with the kit.
I have a copy. I can E-mail you a copy if you need it. You could probably get the bolts and the allen Setscrews at a hardware store.
By the way I have the whole kit (Chrome) with o-ring pegs (Harley bar&shield etched on ends) for sale if anyone is interested. They where on my bike for about thirty miles. I switched to forward controls.
