Mount Hemlet

I have a street bob with small thowover bags. I keep a passager helmet in my bags. This means I can only use one side of my bag because the helmet takes up the full bag on one side. How and where can I mount my helmet on the bike? Any ideas? Mark

If you don't have a sissy bar than the next option to look at would be the pinion pad. In the past I have used a bungie net to secure the helmet to it.

I don't have a sissy bar. I thought about that but my pinion pad is small and the helmet wouldn't rest on the pad it would set on the fender. I have flat black paint and worry the rubbing would polish it.

Might want to look thru T-Bags to see if there is something that you could use. I have this http://www.tbags.com/detail.aspx?ID=20&SelectedCat=2 have had it for years

John, can it fit two helmets and do the zippers lock somehow? I like it and
will have my sissy bar set up on by next week.

Well Bob mine is well over 10 years old so I wouldnt know about the new model. I used to use mine for everything... I could put a full face and half shell i mine and still have plenty of room. I guess you could use a small padlock but no one ever messed with mine

T-bags are quality, bags I've got two that came with my bike a small roll pack and a huge touring bag. I've only used the small one, but it's great, can put leftover takeout food in it etc, very roomy and water proof. (Resistant?} Mines never been wet inside and I've ran them in storms where cages were pulling off left and right. :0
