Your opinion matters none to me. I've listened to the builders' bull$hit, bought the tickets and taken the ride. The bike runs far better and the mileage is just as good with the carburetor. Don't knock it till you try it.

If it weren't for the EPA clamp down, Harley would still be producing their motorcycles with carbs and we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

Science and physics say differently. It's not an opinion, it's a fact. A properly tuned and designed EFI will outperform the best Carb anytime, anywhere.

Horsepower levels AND fuel economy achieved today in modern bikes and cars cannot be achieved if carbed, period.

Put your money where your mouth is, I've got the carbed bike, A $50 bill and I'm willing to disprove your theory.

I've researched it to death. What looks good on paper doesn't always equate to the street. MX bikes with EFI are experiencing the same things as H-D. Throttle response is instantaneous but the power is relatively flat and boring. All the neat techno jargon in the brochure may get you and the rest of the sheep to line up and spend your cash but until it becomes impossible for me to get a license plate without EFI mine will have a Mikuni.

The End.

No, you really haven't. Power being "flat and boring" shows that. The power delivery can be tuned however the rider desires. A carb can't even tune cylinders individually let alone precise fuel metering.

What makes your opinion different than virtually every article written on the subject, let alone every high performance car and bike on the road who power levels and fuel economy could not be achieved without EFI?

The fact that I took the time to experiment with both forms of aspiration and have drawn my conclusions based on the results is what makes my opinion different. Until you've done the same, your argument is invalid.
