Not only is that a logic fallacy, but not knowing the facts of your experiment, nor verification that the tuning was optimized, also negate your opinion as incorrect.

I suppose your right, they were tuned on the same dyno, just not on the same day.

At this point you're arguing just for the sake of arguing. Some say cucumbers taste better pickled. Give it up, I like the fuc&ing carburetor. Go plug all the wires and computers you want into your Harley if that's what tickles you. The OP wanted info on converting to carb and I gave it to him. It can be done and it works great!

No doubt it can be done and work as great as a carburetor allows.

Take it outside fellas and let the thread get back on track. Obviously neither of you are willing to budge on your opinions so call it a draw before the thread gets locked.

Don't forget to get your bike epa certifide once you remove your efi and sensors. Or you could build a kit bike, one per lifetime to get around the federal epa laws. Read up on the tampering laws.

We all would be SOL if this were the case, removing the cat, tuning with a race tuner (off road only). He should be just fine. I don't know this for a fact but dang near everyone who owns a Harley would be in trouble for tampering.

To make a true comparison between EFI and carbs (I am a carbs man) you need to have twin carbs on the bike as EFI has one injector per cylinder.

Now, a twin carbed TC would be just EPIC!!! Anyone done one yet? It could be done like an Ironhead twin carby....using two front heads....mmmm, now there is my retirement project :-)

It would have so much power you would only need to open the throttle once a week
