Picked this up last weekend. It is both my early Christmas present and my mid life crisis bike. It is a 2002 Super Glide with 2700 miles. I was looking to buy a new one, but when I saw this one and the price was right, I decided to buy it. This is my second Harley, my first being a new FXRS back in 86. I paid $ 6,600 for that one, so 20 years later, I only had to pay $ 1,400 more for the one I have now. This will end up being my winter project since it is too cold to ride now, so I've been cruising Ebay and the HD catalog for various cool looking parts. One of the many things I want to get is a reduced effort clutch kit cause the existing one requires alot of effort (at least to me). Thank God this site is available for questions, tips, information, etc, and good people!
allright!!!!!!!!!! great choice.
the coolest addition to that sled is you.
enjoy the ride
I bought my first harley about two years ago - 02 fxdwg after many years of no motorcycles. Started out early in life riding my brother's dirt bikes. Most everyone said it was my mid-life crisis, but that had already occurred several years before. A very respected pastor said a couple of years ago that what the world needs is not just another christian, but one that is fully alive. You rarely see someone that is really living - when you do, you want what he (or she) has. For me, it started with God, but that wideglide sure reminds me how good life is at times when i need the reminder.
