Default Handlebar Deflectors for Winter Riding

I have seen a few post inquiry about the Deflectors sold through National Cycle.

I have posted several pictures so others could see an example of what they look like on an FXD.

I installed these for cold weather riding, back in October. They do deflect the wind and rain.

It is really beginning to act like winter here, now. Highs in the 30's-40's, and lows in the teens-twenties.

I hope this doesn't last too long. I installed heated hand grips a few weeks ago......... really help a lot, especially at milder temps.

Heated glove liners are on the way this week, and next will be a heated liner or vest. Can't stop riding, until it snows anyway.

Been thinking about the wind deflectors, finger tips are the only thing that gets so cold I cannot stand it. Do the deflectors themselfs take care of it??? I put hand warmers in my gloves, not going to get heated gloves or, grips...

No, they don't (for me).................. nor do heated grips, although heated grips do in milder temps (can wear lighter weight gloves). I am already totally spoiled by the heated grips, but they only warm the palms, for the most part.

I think my finger tips probably get cold real quick. because I am very thin, and smoke way too much. Like being skinny in the summer, ain't no fun in the winter.

Best thing I've found for warming the finger tips, so far are the jugs (on the motor LOL). A little hard to keep the throttle hand warm, though.

Thanks for the compliment............. The seat is a Corbin Classic Solo w/ removable backrest...... I love my seat.

Corbins are hard but extrememely comfortable, if you like them. They are a love 'em/ hate 'em seat.

I ride on mine for hundreds of miles a day without tiring.
