They are just the shells, you will still need to get the rest of the hardware.

yeah. is this a good price for shells. im thinking easy brackets from hardstreet

bags $299
easy brackets hard street $159
paint vivid black ?
hardware ?

what is a estimate in cost for paint and hardware?

Hardware I've seen around 350 or more used, I think it was over 400 for hardware from the moco, paint is just going to depend on where you are, I would assume another couple hundred also

I'm thinking you are right on the money. Could be close to $1000 before it's completed.

By the time you add up the money required to make those work you may be better off with some of the factory stuff. I wanted hard bags too but ended up getting a great deal on the factory leather detachable ones. They do have a hard back with an internal frame so they keep their shape. I'm glad I went this way. I think they look great and the painted ones would have been all scratched up by now.
