So finally I have the official answer from H-D regarding my oil leak and primary leak. According to the dealer the following items need replacing. The oil pan gasket as well as the inner primary gasket to the tune of $538.00 parts and labor. I don't know how with just over 5000 miles the inner primary gasket need replacement but what can you do. I just wish I had more wrenching skills to do this myself. Thanks to all that replied to my original post. Stay safe and enjoy the ride.
I just took my bike in for an oil leak as well. they called me and said they had good news and bad news.
They had to tear my 2005 dyna super glide apart to replace seals. Not sure how many. but my leak was on the top of the motor case where it met up with the tranny case. it was a slow leak and didnt drip. Very odd for only 600 miles.
So i havent had my bike since tuesday night. I am missing it badly.
