How do I install this?
How do I change a top clamp. seems easy. get a torque wrench. and a socket that fits the nut on the stem. then get a torx that fits the pinch bolts.
remove
then repeat for install in opposite order.
question
1. how much torque on the nut that goes on the stem?
2. how much do i tighten the pinch bolts
3. how do i know when i put it back on that it will be in the correct position: meaning height on the tubs.
4. when i take off the top clamp, will the forks and bottom clamp come off too. or will the frame stay rested on the stem.
5. can i do this with the bike sitting on the ground on the kick stand.
any help would be great. I am a total newb and would like to learn these things. like taking of the rims and putting back on, top clamp, also want to learn how to wire internally. like I said, total newb at this.
this is what my new clamp looks like. thanks loner..
thanks
also how do i get the wires out. they are ran through the top clamp
. i guess i have to remove the tank to get to the connector. where ever that is?
Stem nut is 70-80 ft lb use anti seize on the stem
Fork tubes should protrude 11.4-12.7mm above the top clamp, although they shouldn't move
Pinch bolts is 30-35 ft lb

thank you very much. i have a motorcycle jack. should i use it for the front end. or just try it on the stand? what the worst that could happen on the stand. the tubes would not slide in the trees would they?
and what is that little hole for close to the stem hole? on my new clamp?
