well I have thought of that and my deal is this. i would like dimpled because if i cut the broomstick bar so it can except stock controls, then the bar will rust.

maybe i cut one down and then get it powder coated black?

any suggestions

sportster bars are narrow to start with. about 28-29 wide. The dimples are close to the bend so you can hack quite a bit off the ends. Mine are 26 wide now and feel perfect.

I like the tall risers but I would go with drag bars.

not a big fan of "broom sticks" .... they put unnatural strain on the wrists.
Any other bars will have some pull-back and are much more comfortable.

this is my shovel with dog-bones and drag bars. very comfortable.

looks great. i like it when the bars are turned down on a taller riser.

going to try my drag bar i have. cut it down and see if I can make something that will work. should have something on the bike in a little bit.
