Looks good with the drag bars. I think 8 inch risers have good proportions but 10's with drags would make the stock mirrors more useful.
There's a fairly easy way to cut down dimpled bars if you have access to a welder. Cut at the outside edge of the knurled section of the bars. Remove a section from each end of the middle of the bars so that the welds when ground down flush with the pipe will sit in the middle of the risers after you weld them back up. You can use the cut off sections to make inserts if you don't want an open root weld.

thnaks for the tip. when i get a garage I will be gatting a welder. and then I can do fun projects like that in my garage. for now I dont have room for a welder
ok so i took it around the block. felt much different. took more attention for turns, felt cool though. waiting for my 10" risers to come and then i will finish everything up including relocating the turn signals.
let me know what you think. trying to think of a place i can put a mirror so i can take it off the bars. sort of usless when the bars have a slight down turn
Not sure how you feel about the bar end mirrors (lollipop style, not the big drop down ones). I've seen some small ones out there. They look cool on Cafe racers but most of the guys I know with choppers don't bother with mirrors or just run an old school bar mount one to keep from getting hassled by the "man."
