Since you asked what we think, i must say i dont like tall risers. if it were me i would of used that money on taller bars. but hey thats just me, and trust me what i say doesnt mean anything.
i dont know. there is something that gets my attention about this style of bike. I guess I like frisco style bikes with tall risers and broomstick bars. T bars also are the same thing pretty much.
just something about them. I am thinking of how to make or where to get a super narrow broom stick bar that is dimpled for stock controls. might have to go to 10" risers in order to get the correct size for my 6'4 riding position
I've always liked straight risers with drags or super bars - have run them many times. I think it looks great, 8" - 10" is usually the max height I go on risers before it starts to throw the look of the front end off.
Next time at least roll your bike outside or open the curtains to shoot the video.
use those risers and scoop up a couple different sets of bars. broom sticks, drags, different height super bars from 1in rise to 4-5 in. Then you can swap whenever you want, the cables will all still fit and the look changes quite a bit each time. I love nothing more than 8-10in risers with super bars. On a very clean narrowglide with just a throttle and clutch cable, no wiring..I'm building a bike in my head right now around that idea. If I ever sell this dyna I'll build it for real.
yeah thanks for the input. I really like the risers too. I know it was pretty damb dark out. You know how that goes. parts come when you get home and you install them in the dark. couldnt wait to get some pics of them so I have a dark video. lol
I do need to do something with the turn signals. I am also looking at a few different bars too.
never heard of super bars. guess i am a newbie. checking into those.
