That's where I'm getting confused. How big do I want them. Don't want them too big but for sure not small. Planning some trips this summer with the wife so have to take that into consideration.

If that's the case, don't get small bags, get some that you can actually fit a decent leather jacket in, rain gear etc. But I think you may have to up your $$ unless you stay with synthetics.

X2 Bad&GCustoms! I just upgraded to their hard bags. Either style are awesome! If you're not traveling, a pair of solo bags is plenty. I could stuff my half helmet into one of his regular bags, not so sure about the hard bags yet.
