So I want to have my lowers and trees painted
Or pced to match the vivid black of my bike. I'm a fan of contrast. I also am looking at new bars. Most like WCC T Bars or drag bar, 10 inch. Would chrome bars look silly? Since the lowers would be black the forks chrome ( stainless) should I go black bars? Thanks for your input.
I PC'd my legs and triple trees on my 08 SB and left the stock Mini Apes on her. They were chrome and the front end was black. The hand controls were black also adding to the chrome black contrast I was doing on the bike ..... Unfortunately I was never able to complete the project as she was lost a few months after I did the front end.....
I think the chrome works. You are going to get a ton of different answers here. I would use the stock bars for a bit after everything is PCd so that you can accurately judge the color scheme.
I think the Chrome would look good if your switches and grips have black. I'm doing Chrome on mine, but I will be doing a black riser and clamp. My trees are still natural, so you should be good with the black trees. Good contrast.
I went with matt black pc on the lowers and triple trees. Bought them off Ebay and sent them out for PC, so I could do a quick change, then just sold the others back. left the stock polished ss bars w/ black levers. I like that look.
